We couldn’t ask for better. We started drums lessons for Flynn to experience something new. When we started I said, “I don’t care if he even plays” and sometimes he doesn’t and Angel Bartolotta will just play while Flynn watches. Today was a day not spent at a drum set playing perfectly. It was spent “lazy drumming” on the floor. This may not look like much to some people, but for a mom who has a nonverbal Autistic son this is the world. Flynn is engaged and interacting with someone who is not his family. It’s a teacher who cares enough to drum on his shoes or floor when Flynn doesn’t want to play on the set. It’s adapting and seeing through someone else’s eyes. We are lucky to find The Rock Box and Angel.
