I haven’t played drums since I was in my early 20’s and really wanted to dig back in, erase bad habits and truly learn from a fully musical perspective. I was always hesitant to take lessons at this point in my life (42 years old), because I didn’t feel confident that I would find a teacher that would keep me interested enough to continue learning through all the rudiments, and reading music. That changed when I met Angel Bartolotta at The Rock Box: dude is the bomb!! Super patient (I want to know everything and want to perfect), great teacher… not everyone has the right skill set to transfer knowledge, and you can tell he truly loves what he does. That is infectious, and I can’t wait to see where the journey brings me. Any age, any instrument… If you have been thinking about it… Stop and just do it… Now!!!!! DO IT!!!
